Defending Champions, Spain out of the World Cup

Defending champions Spain have been knocked out of the World Cup in Brazil after losing 2-0 to Chile in their second match.
Chile’s victory — through goals from Eduardo Vargas and Charles Arranguiz — took them and the Netherlands through to the last 16 from Group B.
